Antoinette Poisson designers has been request to create a special domino paper for the exhibition "Marie-Antoinette Style" which will open next 20th september at the London Victoria & Albert Museum.
This exhibition highlights the Queen's stylistic influence over time, bringing together more than 250 objects. A rich journey, blending history, tragedy, and glamour wich evokes the aesthetic radiance of the First Lady of Versailles.
The domino paper created for the occasion is inspired by the "à la française" patterns popular in the 18th century under the leadership of Marie Antoinette. Bouquets of roses and leopard-print ribbons were the preserve of queens.
