Domino paper "Marie-Antoinette"
Antoinette Poisson was asked to participate in the “Marie Antoinette Style” exhibition opening at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
This exhibition highlights the Queen's stylistic influence over time, bringing together more than 250 objects. A rich journey, blending history, tragedy, and glamour wich evokes the aesthetic radiance of the First Lady of Versailles.
The domino paper created for the occasion is inspired by the "à la française" patterns popular in the 18th century under the leadership of Marie Antoinette. Bouquets of roses and leopard-print ribbons were the preserve of queens.
